Six steps, then the follow-up.
A proper workup up front, a written plan with targets in it, and follow-up that checks whether the plan moved anything.

- 01Same week
Inquiry & eligibility
You send a note. We confirm you're in a state where we're licensed, that the practice is a fit for what you're after, and answer anything you want to ask before money changes hands.
- 02Week 1
Intake visit
Sixty minutes by video. Your medical and weight history, prior treatment, medication eligibility, risks, goals, and the baseline lab work your situation requires.
- 03Week 1
Treatment begins
If medication is appropriate, we prescribe an FDA-approved product for its weight-management indication — the only medication this practice prescribes. We help with insurance authorization or explain available self-pay routes; the pharmacy bills you separately.
- 04Week 6–12
Early review & prevention plan
At the second visit we review response, tolerability, relevant labs, CKM stage, PREVENT scores when calculable, kidney and liver risk, metabolic syndrome, and prevention care gaps. You receive a written plan to share with your PCP.
- 05Between visits
Treatment & titration
Structured check-ins and secure messages cover progress, dose decisions, side effects, and weight-treatment questions. We respond within one business day and move to video when clinical judgment requires it.
- 06Month 12
Annual review & maintenance
At the third visit we review your weight trajectory, decide on continuation or maintenance, update the relevant prevention assessment, and prepare a clear handoff for your PCP.
What the first twelve months look like.
- Visit 1 — week 1
60-minute weight evaluation, treatment decision, baseline testing, and goals
- Visit 2 — week 6–12
Early treatment review, relevant labs, and your written prevention plan
- Visit 3 — month 12
Annual review, maintenance strategy, updated assessment, and PCP handoff
- Between visits
Structured check-ins and secure messaging for weight-treatment doses, side effects, results, and questions
We coordinate. We don't replace.
Keep your primary care physician. We treat weight and give you a clear report of the broader risks we identify so your PCP can use it, question it, and decide what belongs in their treatment plan.
We do not prescribe for or take over routine treatment of blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, kidney disease, cancer screening, or unrelated conditions, and lab work is the only testing we order. When an assessment finds something that needs follow-up, we explain the urgency and direct you to your PCP or the appropriate specialist.
What we don't do is acute care. See the full scope for what stays with your PCP or urgent care.
What does it cost?
$250 for the initial assessment, then $100 a month — one plan, no tiers. Labs and medications are billed separately.
